A new exhibition at the British Museum is sending visitors way back in time and deep underwater to learn about the “Sunken Cities” off the coast of Egypt. More than twelve centuries ago, two Greco-Egyptian cities sank into the Nile Delta. Now, thanks to underwater excavation, the public has the chance to see some amazingly well-preserved objects. Dan Damon talked to the exhibition’s curator, Aurélia Masson-Berghoff.
