Farmers in countries across eastern Africa, who have already been struggling with devastating drought, are facing a new threat.
A pest called the Fall Armyworm has invaded about 80,000 hectares of farm land in western Kenya.
The hungry caterpillar has the potential to create even more serious food shortages.
