Earthquake in Croatia interrupts parliament session in Slovenia

A strong #earthquake which struck neighbouring #Croatia interrupted a session inside #Slovenia’s parliament in Ljubljana, on Tuesday.

As a politician was giving a speech, the building began shaking prompting the house speaker to interrupt the session and ask everyone to evacuate the building out of safety concerns.

The session eventually resumed with only minor material damage caused to the parliament building by the earthquake.
