Prime Minister Mark Rutte has claimed victory in Dutch parliamentary elections.
It is Europe’s first major vote since the start of the pandemic.
The Dutch prime minister has led his conservative-liberal party to victory for a fourth time in a general election.
Voting was spread over three days and special polling stations were set up to allow for social distancing.
More than 16,000 people have died of COVID-19 in the Netherlands since the start of the pandemic.
The past few months have seen anti-lockdown protests as discontent grows over COVID-19 restrictions.
