Clouds of dust were reported to have risen from the eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains on June 24 after a magnitude 5.8 earthquake struck the area near Lone Pine, California.
The shocks were felt by local residents in the California cities of Fresno and Acampo, and in Las Vegas, Nevada, among other areas surrounding the epicenter.
No significant damage was reported.
Video was filmed by Steven Wheeler, who said it shows dust rising from the Sierra Nevada Mountains after the earthquake.
