Dust Devil Invades Pitch During Bolivian Football Match

RT published this video item, entitled “Dust Devil Invades Pitch During Bolivian Football Match” – below is their description.

Pitch invasions can be common in soccer, but it’s usually fans invading the pitch, not weather anomalies.

Earlier this week a ‘dust devil’ tore through the pitch prior to kickoff as two Bolivian teams prepared to face off in the finals of a local tournament. Dust devils are small whirlwinds that pick up dust and debris as they gain momentum.

The small dust devil caused no apparent damage and did no damage beyond delaying the start of the match. Take a look at the eyewitness footage from the game.
