Reparations, racial justice and equality for people of African descent will top the agenda as leaders meet two decades after the adoption of the landmark Durban Declaration and Programme of Action(DDPA).

This historic moment is seen through the eyes of those who inspired it, carried it forward and today lead the fight for racial justice. With moving testimony from people impacted by racism as well as others also resolved to advance the cause, this video raises the curtain on the General Assembly’s high-level meeting, to be held 22 September 2021.
