Dramatic moment 11-year-old girl fights off kidnapper – BBC News

This 11-year-old girl had to fight off a knife-wielding kidnapper while waiting for her school bus in Florida.

She punched and kicked him before breaking free and running to safety. The man fled but was arrested.

Her mother had been accompanying her to the bus stop for two weeks after a man, thought to be the suspect, had approached her while she waited. The attack took place the first week the girl’s mother was not there.
