  1. the two week window is not appropriate for such a huge social problem. Angry men are in big numbers and we know because the WHO regard subjugation of women all around the world as the number one health problem. My daughter has gone through the most terrifying breakup at the hands of a paranoid personality disordered narcissistic. She fears he will cause grave harm to her 3 year old and herself. This is of constant concern and paralysis to her daily function and life despite a divorce and living apart.
A plan that somehow addresses violence towards women and how to prevent it is one long awaited wish but I see a worse problem. The offender, in most cases the male, in the majority of cases, i suspect, at least in our case, somehow always is given the position of power, priority and right mind over the position of the woman in the legal battles that follow. Male partners shocking behaviours somehow have impunity at any level in my view as if it is a default status. Our barristers, councillors, phycologists and doctors reports all seem to mean nothing at the end of the day, especially when the culprit stands his ground. i think this is what needs to be changed. Partners in violent relationships should be give absolute equal standing and listened to equally by the courts. i don’t think this is happening at present. The men get away with too much freedom.
