Pyongyang says it sees little use in maintaining ties between the leaders of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the United States. It has warned Washington to stay out of inter-Korean affairs after it announced it would cut off all communication lines with Seoul.
Today marks the second anniversary of a landmark summit between Kim Jong Un and Donald Trump which was the first time a sitting American president met with a DPRK leader. Bilateral relations have been strained amid a deadlock in nuclear talks between Pyongyang and Washington.
