  • The Telegraph published this video item, entitled “Donald Trump impeached for a second time in historic vote” – below is their description.

President Donald Trump has been impeached by the US House of Representatives over the violent siege of the Capitol by a vote of 232 to 197.

He is the only president in US history to be twice impeached.

Trump faced a single charge “incitement of insurrection” in Wednesday’s vote after he encouraged a mob of loyalists to, as he put it, “fight like hell” against election results.

The subsequent attack on the U.S. Capitol turned deadly and delayed finalising Democrat Joe Biden’s election victory.

Ten Republicans supported impeachment along with the Democrats.
