Donald Trump defends sharing information with Russia
The US president has defended his decision to share sensitive information in a meeting with Russia, after a political storm erupted over the passing on of the material.
Donald Trump’s national security adviser called his actions “wholly appropriate”, but his political opponents are demanding the White House turn over a transcript of the meeting.
