Dominic Cummings leaves Downing Street ‘effective immediately’

The Telegraph published this video item, entitled “Dominic Cummings leaves Downing Street ‘effective immediately'” – below is their description.

Dominic Cummings is to leave Downing Street with immediate effect, after clearing his desk and emerging from the front door of Number 10 clutching his possessions in a cardboard box. It comes after he and close ally Lee Cain lost a bitter internal power struggle, which saw the director of communications step down from his role. The Prime Minister’s chief adviser earlier signalled that he could be gone by Christmas, having said his plan had always been to make himself “largely redundant” by the end of the year. However, it was decided that he should leave tonight after discussions with Boris Johnson. Mr Cain will also be stepping down with immediate effect.
