Dinosaurs: Meat eating ‘Chief Dragon’ remains discovered in Wales

GBNews published this video item, entitled “Dinosaurs: Meat eating ‘Chief Dragon’ remains discovered in Wales” – below is their description.

Fossils found more than half a century ago in South Wales form part of the oldest meat-eating dinosaur ever discovered in the UK, the Natural History Museum has confirmed today.

The remains were unearthed in a quarry near Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan and the chicken sized creature has been appropriately named “Chief Dragon” or Pendraig in Middle Welsh.

It roamed the area two hundred million years ago and is from the theropod family of meat-eaters, like the T-Rex and Velociraptor.
