Former prime minister David Cameron said on Friday Britain ‘can make a success’ of Brexit, on the day the country is set to leave the European Union. Cameron took the decision to hold a referendum on the Britain’s membership of the European Union in 2016.
‘I led the campaign to stay in but I always accepted the referendum result and knew this day would come’, he said.
