Recent from The Telegraph:
The Telegraph published this video item, entitled “Daunte Wright shooting: Protests erupt in Minneapolis for a second night” – below is their description.
Protests erupted in Minneapolis for a second night on Monday evening, despite a city-wide curfew.
Hundreds of protesters waved signs and chanted slogans in front of the police station in Brooklyn Center, after police killed Daunte Wright in what they’ve described an ‘accidental discharge’.
Demonstrators taunted police through newly-erected wire fencing around the station, and carried signs saying “Jail all racist killer cops,” “Am I next?” and “No justice, no peace”.
About 90 minutes after the curfew deadline, police began firing gas canisters and flash-bang grenades, sending clouds wafting over the crowd and chasing some away. Some protesters picked up smoke canisters and threw them back toward police. Others shot fireworks toward police lines.
