Protests over the killing of 20-year-old Daunte Wright in Minnesota continued into a third night.

Demonstrators once again defied the 10pm curfew and clashed with police who moved in to disperse crowds.

The protests come on the same day as the police officer who killed Mr Wright in what has been described as an “accident” resigned.

Earlier in the day, hundreds of protesters braved the snow to gather at a peaceful rally outside Brooklyn Center police headquarters.
