A dangerous heatwave is sweeping across Australia with Queensland expecting to hit temperatures to hit up to 45 degrees. Parts of Western Australia and Northern Territory reached a scorching 45.7 degrees yesterday with the weather bureau predicting temperatures to be eight degrees above average this week.
