There will be Cuban doctors in Italy battling Covid-19
Al Jazeera reported on Cuba sending a grup of doctors to help with the unfolding medical crisis in Italy:
Cuba is sending its medics to Lombardy to help Italian doctors fight the coronavirus outbreak.
Cuban doctors were on the frontlines in the fight against cholera in Haiti and against Ebola in West Africa 10 years ago.
Nearly 800 Italians died from the new coronavirus on Saturday.

Covid-19 has claimed thousands of Italian lives since the outbreak took hold in Italy, and some hospitals are under severe strain. The country has been locked-down since 8 March 2020, yet the number of cases and death toll continue to rise on a daily basis.
