Power Outage Reaction: David Crisafulli MP has accused the Queensland Government of using the state’s energy assets as a “cash cow”.

The Opposition Leader says he has “every reason to ask questions” after yesterday’s fire at the Callide Power Station in Central Queensland, which cut power to hundreds of thousands of homes across the state.

“These generators are there to provide a service, an essential service for Queenslanders, and they’re there to make sure they’re the most vital supplier there, not to be used as a cash cow.”
