Cricket race row: Azeem Rafiq calls for a clear-out at Yorkshire CCC

Sky News published this video item, entitled “Cricket race row: Azeem Rafiq calls for a clear-out at Yorkshire CCC” – below is their description.

Azeem Rafiq says there needs to be a root and branch clear-out at Yorkshire County Cricket Club after he accused the organisation of failing to crack down on racist behaviour in the team.

He told Sky News anyone of colour would not find his allegations of racism at the club unsurprising.

The former cricketer told MPs yesterday he had been subjected to repeated racist behaviour and the club had done nothing to stop it – a lack of action that effectively ended his career.

WARNING: In his testimony, Azeem Rafiq uses offensive racist language to describe the abuse.
