The body representing home care companies has warned that services are already “paralysed” by overwork.
They are warning that the government’s strategy of mandatory Covid jabs for frontline staff will make things even worse.
The Homecare Association claimed it could mean up to 20% of employees are unable to work because they won’t get the vaccine.
The government insists it’s the right approach to make sure the most vulnerable people in society are protected.
