COVID-hit Lebanon’s oxygen supplies run low

Al Jazeera English published this video item, entitled “COVID-hit Lebanon’s oxygen supplies run low” – below is their description.

Despite a three-week 24-hour curfew, Lebanon’s healthcare sector is struggling with surging COVID-19 infections.

A severe shortage of medical supplies and oxygen tanks has thrown the cash-strapped country into another crisis.

Health experts say Lebanon registered one of the world’s worst surges in infections in January for the size of its population, which is close to seven million including one million refugees.

Al Jazeera’s Zeina Khodr reports from the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
