    With Brazil’s COVID daily death rate having topped 4,000 this week, and the total number of the deceased due to the virus currently exceeding 340,000, the grim prediction is that the country’s death toll may soon break January’s US record high. Nonetheless, despite this surge, Brazilians won’t be put into lockdown, President Bolsonaro has insisted.
