As vaccinations keep ticking up in Canada, some provinces are already further lifting more pandemic restrictions. But will Canadians be able to stop worrying about wearing a mask just as quickly?
Mask mandates continue to persist across most provinces and territories throughout Canada, despite some failed attempts to have them removed for good earlier in the year.
But some provinces like Ontario, Quebec, and Saskatchewan are already aiming to get rid of them in the near future.
As Jamie Maraucher reports, experts warn ditching the mandates too soon can still spell disaster for our health care system.
