Covid-19 in the US: Why air conditioning could increase the spread

« When people run #airconditioning they close the windows, that creates conditions where there is not enough fresh air and ventilation moving through indoor spaces. #Europe has the advantage that people can sit in #restaurants with windows wide open. The summers are relatively mild. In the #US, large parts of the country need air conditioning for one to be inside. Most air conditioning systems recycle most or all of the air to save energy cost, that creates a situation where you are not creating enough ventilation through spaces where there are a lot of people occupying the space, that is the problem. »
