    The government is employing 1,114 consultants from Deloitte alone to work on its COVID-19 testing scheme. Some of those consultants are being paid more than £2,000 a day, Sky News had discovered. A Department of Health and Social Care spokesperson said: “We continue to work with a wide range of public and private sector partners as we respond to this unprecedented global pandemic. “These organisations provide the specialist skills and experience we need to contain the spread of the virus and save lives.” #COVID19
