While they have not reached the stage yet, there is the potential health-care providers may soon have to make decisions on which patients can get a ventilator and who can’t.

Heather Yourex-West reports on how health-care workers are changing the way they deliver care, and how Calgary has now mandated vaccine passports.

Next door to Alberta, the fourth wave is also hitting Saskatchewan’s hospitals hard, with some adult patients being moved into pediatric ICUs.

Nathaniel Dove reports on the alarming trends, and the appeals for more people to get vaccinated.
