Drone video taken over #Beirut showed the #Lebanon’s capital, known for its traffic jams, relatively empty on Tuesday after the government told people not to leave their houses except for shopping and emergencies.

Some cars were still visible but most streets were entirely deserted after police started fining people who were found walking on the seaside promenade.

Lebanon has been under a #lockdown for more than week to stop the spread of the new virus.

The number of infected people in the country stood at 304, with four deaths.
