Al Jazeera English published this video item, entitled “Could Catalonia again try to break away from Spain? | Inside Story” – below is their description.
It’s been a turbulent three years since Catalonia tried to secede from Spain.
The government in Madrid hadn’t authorised the referendum organised by regional leaders in Barcelona, and afterwards charged them with sedition.
The issue dominated Sunday’s regional election, where separatist parties increased their majority.
But the Catalan branch of Spain’s ruling Socialists also won more seats in parliament.
Could this lead to more political chaos?
