Corruption claims cloud South Africa’s local election

South Africans head to the polls on Wednesday for their local elections. They are voting for the layer of government that has the biggest impact on their daily lives.

Municipalities are in charge of basic services, like water supply and rubbish collection, but voters say they are suffering because of corruption.
