Coronavirus: Unions clash with the government over school re-opening plans

The Education Secretary Gavin Williamson has said that teaching unions have a “duty” to back the government’s plans to reopen schools.

But he’s meeting resistance with one of the biggest unions asserting that teachers can legally refuse to return to class if they don’t get the same protection as other key workers.
