Coronavirus: The rising infectious hotspots in England

The average rate that an infected person passes the virus on to someone else is between 0.8-0.9 – but some areas are seeing a spike in the number.

According to the Office for National Statistics (ONS), there are around 4,200 new infections in England per day.
