Health secretary Matt Hancock told Labour MP and A&E doctor Rosena Allin-Khan to change her tone when the shadow mental health minister said the government’s Covid-19 testing strategy had ‘cost lives’.
Allin-Khan later tweeted: ‘I will respectfully challenge the Government – I want our country to succeed. However, I will not ‘watch my tone’ when dozens of NHS and care staff are dying unnecessarily’
