Restrictions have been eased on eight Melbourne public housing towers placed under strict quarantine at the weekend. They are now on the same lockdown restrictions as the rest of the city, meaning residents can venture outdoors to work or buy groceries. But in a ninth tower 53 positive cases have been identified, and authorities warn that up to a quarter of all residents may be infected.
