Quebec Premier François Legault held a press conference Thursday to provide an update on the province’s latest COVID-19 cases and containment measures. He will be joined by Health Minister Christian Dubé. Quebec reported 1,030 new COVID-19 cases and 25 additional deaths on Thursday, bringing the provincial case count to 103,844 cases and 6,214 deaths. The premier has already announced the extension of pandemic restrictions in red zone areas until Nov. 23 after the partial lockdown was supposed to end Oct. 28.
