After days of changed plans and hold-ups, a plane carrying dozens of Britons evacuated from the city at the centre of the coronavirus outbreak has touched down at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire.
150 of them had been expected to fly home. But in the end, just 83 people were on board. For the next fortnight, they will stay at an NHS facility in Birkenhead, where they’ll remain in quarantine.
