The Oval cricket ground in London opened its doors to the public for the first test event involving spectators in a stadium since the U.K. began its coronavirus lockdown in March.
The crowd watched the match between Surrey and Middlesex cricket clubs, which was being used by the teams as a practice game before the delayed cricket season officially starts in August.
Spectators were sat in socially distanced seating with limited numbers, with regulations such as staggered queuing and mandatory use of hand sanitizer.
