Coronavirus contacts not being traced in key infection areas | ITV News

Even with the measures of recent months, lives are still being lost to coronavirus in the UK – another 53 were announced today. One step that can now be taken is the use of local lockdowns, as seen in Leicester.

Blackburn with Darwen and Luton joined Leicester on the highest alert level on Public Health England’s watchlist. But in Rochdale, another area of concern, it’s emerged many contacts of infected people are not being traced.
