Coronavirus briefing: £283m funding will be used to ‘keep bus and rail passengers safe’

In the daily government briefing, Transport Secretary Grant Shapps MP outlined plans to resume regular transport services. 
He also announced that  a total of 36,675 people have died from coronavirus in the UK, up by 282 fatalities since yesterday across all settings.
