In an unprecedented step, the UK Government ordered all British people to “stay at home” on the evening of 23 March 2020, after the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak threatened to overwhelm it’s National Health Service (NHS). A second UK lockdown, with “stay at home” order was enacted by Parliament on Thursday 5th November 2020.
