While students in southern Ontario will have to wait until Jan. 25 to return to in-person learning, Alberta will send students back to the classroom on Monday.

Ontario’s premier said one-in-five children under the age of 13 who have been tested are carrying COVID-19.

And as Heather Yourex-West reports, experts say there is growing evidence schools can contribute to the spread of the coronavirus in communities.
