Al Jazeera English published this video item, entitled “Colombia’s election: massive rallies mark campaign end” – below is their description.
In Colombia, campaign rallies for leading presidential canditates have ended.
Opinion polls suggest leftist Gustavo Petro is the frontrunner.
He is promising to phase out fossil fuels – in a country where oil still accounts for a third of foreign revenue.
The wild card in the race is 77-year-old populist entrepreneur and anti-corruption crusader Rodolfo Hernandez.
His recent rise in the polls has surprised many opening up what had largely been a two-horse race.
Al Jazeera’s Alessandro Rampietti reports from Bogota, Colombia.
