Al Jazeera English published this video item, entitled “Colombia investigating after car bomb injures 36 at military base” – below is their description.
A car bomb inside a Colombian military base has injured 36 people – three of them critically. The government suspects the country’s largest armed group, the ELN, was behind the attack.
It happened in Cucuta, a town bordering Venezuela, and where several criminal groups operate drug trafficking routes.
Ivan Duque, the Colombian president, told reporters that his government would offer a $135,000 reward to find those responsible for the blasts in Cucuta. A special investigative group had also been set up to look into what happened, he said.
Al Jazeera’s Alessandro Rampietti reports from Bogota, Colombia.
