Cobargo residents share incredible tale of survival after bushfire | 7.30

The fire that swept through the NSW town of Cobargo destroyed homes and businesses and killed two people, but the death toll could have been higher.

When fire overwhelmed Marylin Mills and Mick Thompson they took shelter in their home. They narrowly avoided death, but the house they’d recently moved into was destroyed.

They shared their incredible tale of survival with Phil Williams and cameraman Greg Nelson.
