Federal Parliament sat again yesterday for the first time in more than six weeks. Since then a lot has happened – Christian Porter quit the government front bench, Gladys Berejiklian quit the top job in New South Wales, and a French submarine contract was dumped in favor of a proposed nuclear deal with the US and the UK.
But it was climate change that dominated the first day back. Here’s 7.30’s chief political correspondent Laura Tingle.
