Clashes erupt on Jerusalem Day

Celebrations of Jerusalem Day, which began on Tuesday and ended at Wednesday evening, have led to clashes between Palestinian protesters and Israeli security forces in Occupied East Jerusalem.

Israeli forces were trying to keep Palestinians protesters away from right-wing Israelis who were celebrating 50 years since the capture of East Jerusalem.

Al Jazeera’s Harry Fawcett reports from Jerusalem.
