Furious travellers from Sydney are demanding compensation after a major border bungle in South Australia. Hundreds of people who arrived before the midnight deadline were wrongly told they would either have to self-isolate or return to New South Wales by air and road. Ros hasn’t seen her son and his family in 12 months. They left Sydney by road on Saturday bound for Adelaide, expecting to be allowed into SA, but when they arrived at the border checkpoint they were told to turn back or spend Christmas in quarantine. “Talking to my grandkids at the border yesterday was the saddest thing I have ever, ever done. They were inconsolable. My daughter in law, bless her, absolutely inconsolable.” More: http://7news.link/38imENg
