    Former New Jersey governor Chris Christie said on Thursday that taking off his mask at the White House was a mistake. He made the remarks via video link during a coronavirus update by Ohio governor Mike DeWine, a fellow Republican. Christie went maskless while helping President Trump prepare for his debate against Joe Biden. He became sick with the coronavirus soon after and spend nearly seven days in a hospital intensive care unit. Christie urged everyone to wear a mask and practice social distancing. He described the COVID-19 symptms like “getting beat up from the inside out.”
