Chinese President Xi Jinping held talks with visiting Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsuh in Beijing on November 28. During their talks, Xi said China is ready to work with Mongolia to ensure stable and lasting development of their strategic partnership.

Speaking about the talks, Sun Weidong, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister said, “I feel that this is an important exchange with a sense of history, a sense of the overall situation and a sense of strategy. The two leaders of China and Mongolia reached an important consensus on jointly building a community with a shared future for both countries in the new era. This is the most significant outcome of this visit.”

He also stressed that the talks also sent a clear signal that the China-Mongolia comprehensive strategic partnership has entered a new stage and reached a new level.
